This section of the blog is devoted to creative teaching ideas and resources that I come across in schools, through other teachers and staff and on the internet. I hope that I will be able to share some of my experiences :)
This is a poster I made up. Easy to make, took me about 15 minutes. They were very excited about who got to colour the squares and trace the number!

I love this sign for the classroom. I can't find a link to print it, but it would be easy to type a colourful one up anyway!

YOU CAN MAKE YOUR OWN GLITTER!!!! Preheat the oven to 350. Place salt (table salt/sea salt) into a small bowl. Add drop of food coloring and mix with the salt. Spread mixture onto a baking sheet in one layer. Bake in oven for 10 minutes. Let cool, then transfer into a storage container for use.
